Ash Shaikh Mir Asedullah Quadri

Hadhrat Khalid bin Walid ibn al-Mughira al-Makhzumi (585-642 CE) (خالد بن الوليد بن المغيرة المخزومي) belonged to the Banu Makhzum, a leading clan of the Quraysh tribe in Makka’s pre-Islamic aristocracy. His mother’s name was Asma bint al-Harith. She accepted Islam in 622 CE. In 627 CE after the treaty of Hudaibiya, Khalid (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) traveled to Madina and accepted Islam on the hand of Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم). After becoming Muslim, he spent all his life in consolidating the new Muslim state by fighting against non-Muslims. He is revered as an icon in the early Muslim conquests. This book provides a brief biography of Hadhrat Khalid bin Walid (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ).
