Hadhrat Abu Ubaidah bin Abdullah bin Al-Jarrah (583-639 CE) (أبو عبيدة عامر بن عبدالله بن الجراح) was a close companion of the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم). He is one of the ten Sahabah who were promised Paradise. He remained commander of a large section of the Rashidun Army during Hadhrat Umar’s (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) caliphate. He was also the member of the team who were given the responsibility to choose a Caliph after Hadhrat Umar’s (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) martyrdom. This book provides a brief biography of Hadhrat Abu Ubaidah (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ).
