Hadhrat Anas bin Malik ibn Nadr al-Khazraji Al-Ansari (612-712) (أنس بن مالك الخزرجي الأنصاري ) is a well-known Sahabi of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم). He was from Najjar clan of the Khazraj tribe of Yathrib. He was born 10 years before the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) immigrated to Madina. After his father Malik bin Nadr died as non-Muslim, his mother Umm Sulaim (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہا) married Abu Talha Ibn Thabit (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ). After the arrival of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) to Madina, his mother presented Anas (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) to serve him as his servant. Anas (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) remained in Prophet’s (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) service till his death in 632 CE. This book provides a brief biography of Hadhrat Anas bin Malik (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ).
