Safiyya bint Abdul Muttalib (569-640) (صفية بنت عبدالمطلب) was the paternal aunt of Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم). She was full sister of Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) and maternal aunt of the mother of Uthman (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ). She was first married to Harith bin Harb, but they separated after a few years. Then she married Awwam bin Khuwailid, a brother of Ummul Momineen Khadija (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہا). She had three sons from this marriage and Zubair bin Al-Awwam (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ), the husband of Asma bint Abu Bakr (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہا) was one of them. This book provides brief biography of Safiyya bint Abdul Muttalib (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہا).
