Miftah Al Ashiqeen | The Key of Lovers

Khwaja Naseeruddin (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ)

The book ‘The Key of Lovers (مِفتاحُ العاشقين)’ contains utterances (ملفوظات) of Khwaja Naseeruddin (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) which were written and compiled by his disciple Khwaja Muhibullah (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ). Malfuzaat (ملفوظات) provide a glimpse of the society in which the Shuyookh lived. These show their love of Allah, concern for people, inner yearnings, and religious advises which were required for the peoples’ exoteric and esoteric reformation during their lifetimes. 1274–1337 Khwaja Nasiruddin (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) was born in Utter Pradesh India around 1274 CE. At the age forty, he left Utter Pradesh for Delhi, where he became the disciple of Khwaja Nizamuddin (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) and stayed there for the rest of his life. After the death of Khwaja Nizamuddin (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) he became his successor. He died in 1337 CE and was buried in Delhi. His most famous disciple was Khwaja Mohammad Al-Hussaini, famously known as Banda Nawaz (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) whose Dargah is in Gulbarga, Karnataka.
