سورة الناس

Mankind

An-Naas | Sura # 114 | 6 verses | Makkan

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate and Most Merciful

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ١

114:1 Say, 'I seek refuge in the Lord of humankind',

مَلِكِ النَّاسِ٢

114:2 the sovereign of the mankind,

إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ٣

114:3 the God of the mankind;

مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ٤

114:4 from the evil of the insidious whisperer (Satan/Devil),

الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ٥

114:5 who whispers evil consideration (evil suggestions) into the hearts of people,

مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ٦

114:6 (both) from among the jinns and people.
