Quraish

Quraish | Sura # 106 | 4 verses | Makkan

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate and Most Merciful

لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ١

106:1 (O' people of Quraish, at least be thankful to Allah) for (His favor of) making Quraish united),

إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ٢

106:2 (and) secure in their trading caravan (to Yemen) in winter and (Syria) in the summer.

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ٣

106:3 So they should worship the Lord of this House (of Ka'ba),

الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ٤

106:4 Who provided them food in the days of famine and made them secure against fear.
