Ameer Khusro (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ)

Shaikh Abul Hasan Yaminuddin Khusro (also known as Ameer Khusro) (1253 - 1325) is one of the most famous poets in Islamic history. He wrote his works in Arabic, Farsi and Hindawi although most of his works have been written in Farsi. He was a disciple of Shaikh Nizamuddin Chisti (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) and has written many poems exploring the concepts of Tasawwuf
