Barakah bint Tha'alaba (بَـرَكَـة) known by her kunya, Umm Ayman (أمّ أيمن), was an early Muslim and companion of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم). She was an Abyssinian slave of the Prophet’s (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) parents. Following the death of the mother of Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم), she helped in raising the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) in the house of his grandfather Abdul Muttalib bin Hashim. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) saw her as a mother figure. This book provides brief biography of Umm Ayman (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہا).
