The modern-day Salafism had its beginning in 1740 CE when Ibn Abdul Wahhab, in collusion with Ibn Saud, the ruler of a small town Diriyya, in Najd, started preaching this new religion. Ibn Saud and Ibn Abdul Wahhab, together, took over the entire Arabian Peninsula by early 1900. This book describes a brief history of Salafism and their Athariyya creed of anthropomorphism. Salafis, Wahhabis, Deobandis and their likeminded groups and innumerable subgroups in the world follow Athariyya creed of anthropomorphism.
